Create Characters
- Choose a style: Drunk, Master, Idiot, Righteous, Criminal, Dangerous, Sexy
- Choose a role: Warrior, Bard, Ranger, Wizard, Priest, Paladin, Thief
- Choose a number from 2-5, high number means better at Scrolls (magic, logic, calm, precise action), low number means better at Swords (passionate action, wild intuition, diplomacy
- Choose and adventurer name. You have a weapon of choice, item from your adventures, clothing to fit your role.
- Bond, choose one of these to apply to player on your left:
owes me their life, saved my life, is my sibling, owes me gold, needs my help, is the chosen one.
Rules
Scrolls roll under your number.
Swords roll over your number.
Roll 1d6 to find out how it goes. +1d6 if you are prepared, +1d6 if you are an expert.
0: If none succeed it goes wrong. GM says how things get worse.
1: If one succeeds, you just manage it. GM inflicts a complication, harm, or cost.
2: If two succeed, you do it well.
3: If three succeed, you get critical success. GM will tell you some extra effect you get.
!: If you roll your number exactly, you have a scroll of swords. You get to ask GM a question, e.g. what are they feeling? Who is behind this? What's the best way to...? How can I...?
